Portraits Composed is created by an established composer with an international career across film and television, including work for major international streaming platforms and broadcasters.
Each commission is individually composed and produced, with musicians and collaborators selected according to the scale and character of the music.
The manuscript
Each commission is accompanied by its framed original handwritten first manuscript page.
A physical trace of how the music was first created, complete with its markings, revisions and imperfections.

CONVERSATION
We begin with the person, story or moment behind the commission. No musical knowledge is required.

COMPOSITION
The work is composed privately from the material shared during the conversation.

DEMO
One pre-production demo is presented. One consolidated revision is included.

RECORDING
Once approved, the composition proceeds to final production and professional recording.

DELIVERY
The finished master is delivered privately, together with the framed original handwritten first manuscript page.

Each commission is quoted individually according to its format, scale and production requirements.

Each original composition is usually around 2–3 minutes and includes a professional final recording, a private listening page and a downloadable 24-bit / 48 kHz studio master.
The initial demo is normally ready around one week after the initial conversation. One consolidated revision is included.
Following approval, allow 1–2 weeks for Piano, 2–3 weeks for Chamber, or 3–4 weeks for Orchestra.
The framed original first manuscript page is shipped by DHL or an agreed courier. Timing is subject to availability and destination.
Commissions are accepted subject to availability.
